How does
Triad HE work?
Triad HE is a transponder-based system and functions
like a small walkie-talkie set. When
the Triad HE key chain is on the key ring and the ignition
is turned on, the key chain and control module transmit a
digital code to authorize the machine to start. This occurs
in less than a second with a little beep to confirm code
acceptance. Without a correctly coded key fob the system
will not allow the machine to start and starts chirping to
help deter the thief.

Can a thief
beat the Triad HE system?
If a professional has enough time and knowledge he can beat
any system. The best way to keep your car safe is to have
several layers of protection.

What
happens if I try to start my equipment without having a
Triad HE fob on my key ring?
The system will chip after 5 seconds and again at 10 and at
15 seconds with chirp each second for 15 more and rapidly
for 15 more and then reset. The machine will not start until
it detects a Triad HE HE Fob.

How many
Fobs or customer cards can be programmed to each machine?
Each machine can have as many as 6 transponders programmed
into the memory.

Yes, Triad HE fobs can be programmed into an unlimited
number of machines. An ignition key is required with the

Will Triad
HE work if it gets wet?
Yes, Triad HE is hermetically sealed and encased in acrylic
to make it next to indestructible. The control fobs are
completely water proof.

Is it
necessary for me to have Triad HE since I have an alarm
already? If you
want a second layer of protection to stop the thief that
knows about common alarms, yes. Most alarms all work the
same. This helps the thief use code grabbers, stun guns,
wire cutters and transmitters to beat the system in seconds.
Transponder is the hot new product and the information to
override the system is hard to get.

If I lose
my fobs, how can I replace them?
You have the ability to add fobs at any time. You will have
a programmer that allows access when needed.

Can Triad
HE do more than stop the machine from starting?
Yes, the Triad HE 2 upgrade allows the system to sound the
horn and flash the lights in the case of an unauthorized
attempted start. The system will sound for one minute and
rest for 30 seconds and sound again for one minute and
reset.

Are all the
key chains the same?

program a company code to allow
multiple users or a unique code. Triad HE has over 4.5

replace the batteries?
There are no
batteries to replace, buttons to push or keys to insert.

What is
“Zero Contact Security”?
This means there
is nothing the user has to do to protect the machine other
than present the control fob to the receiver antenna.

Three years.

What will
happen if I loose or break the control fob?
In the case of emergency, The job site foreman will have a
master control fob to make sure there is no down time. DSS
can get the machine started over the phone. You are never
stranded!

What is the
Triad HE Customer Card?
It is a back up
ID card that works like the Key Fob without the appearance
of a security device. It can be placed in the glove box of
the machine or in a wallet. In the event of lost or stolen
key the card works like a fob to get you going without
interruption. No thief would understand how to use the card
to start the machine even if the card was found.

the card next to the receiver antenna and the system will
